Chen Xianghong

Chen Xianghong was born in Wuzhen. He is currently the president of Wuzhen Tourism Co., Ltd., chairman of Cultural Wuzhen Co., Ltd., and chairman of Zhongjing Tourism Management (Beijing) Co., Ltd. Chen planned, designed, and organized the cultural preservation of Wuzhen. In 1999, during preparations for Wuzhen’s protection and development, he proposed and implemented the protection strategy of re-purposing historical areas. He has devoted himself to making Wuzhen’s 1300 years of culture shine once again through cultural preservation and development.
